CALL FOR SYMPOSIUM PROPOSALS

As part of ISSEMCON 2027 – FRONTIERS in Sports and Exercise Medicine: Innovation • Integration • Excellence, we invite proposals for scientifically focused symposia for the main conference programme on 24th and 25th April 2027.

We welcome proposals that bring together diverse perspectives around a contemporary and clinically relevant theme in Sports and Exercise Medicine and allied disciplines.

A symposium should provide an integrated scientific discussion rather than a collection of unrelated presentations. Proposals are encouraged to address emerging evidence, areas of controversy, clinical challenges, technological advances, research frontiers and multidisciplinary perspectives.

We particularly welcome symposia that:

  • Address contemporary and emerging issues in Sports & Exercise Medicine
  • Present strong scientific and/or clinical relevance
  • Integrate multiple perspectives or disciplines
  • Highlight recent research and advances
  • Address areas of debate or controversy
  • Translate research into clinical or performance practice
  • Explore innovative technologies and future directions
  • Have clear educational value for conference delegates

Suggested Symposium Format

A symposium may typically include:
1 Chair/Moderator + 3–4 Speakers
The final number and duration of presentations will be determined by the Scientific Committee.
